Peep (Pop! Pop!) Ok, here's the thread. Let'south talk over it. :)

Squad Gale - simply in case y'all wanted to know!

Has there been any one that hasn't liked at least the first book?

Peep (Pop! Pop!) No worries Bluemoon, we all take to start somewhere! I'thousand still trying to get caught up myself. Every time I become shut to thinking I've read most of what I need to, some other must read book comes out - not that I'thousand complaining ;)

bulletin 3: by Susan (new)

Susan Team Peeta all the way!!! LOL

Chachic Team Gale! :) Tin can't wait for Mockingjay! I didn't look to like The Hunger Games because I'g not really into dystopian novels just I decided to read it because of the good reviews and I really liked information technology.

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) Yeah Susan - boo Peep and Chachic! Team Peeta all the way. He is all over the start two books - Gale is only a bit player. And Peeta gave her staff of life when she was starving. Bread girls. (sigh) p.s. even though Peep is crazy and did not similar the second volume as much - I thought information technology was every bit good, if not better than the offset. Can't look for the third.

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) Blue Moon. And then glad you are reading The Book Thief. Hope you lot like Hunger Games (and Peeta) :)

message 7: by Susan (new)

Susan Okay and so Heidi, who would you like to see in a movie bandage as Peeta? Do you lot accept a film of someone in your caput??

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) Susan wrote: "Okay then Heidi, who would yous like to see in a movie bandage as Peeta? Do you accept a moving-picture show of someone in your head??"

I don't know a ton of actors immature enough for the Peeta office, but perhaps a younger Orlando Blossom. Or someone like Joseph Gordon-Levitt or even Shia LeBouf (only younger). What about yous Susan???

message nine: by Susan (new)

Susan I'm picturing the blonde dude from Twilight--deceit call back of his name but he is actually cute!! LOL and young enough to be my son-hahahahaha!

Shannen *aka Mrs. Jericho Barrons* (shannybananny71) Hmmm...Rob Pattinson as Peeta...TEAM PEETA! LOL

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) Oh nooooooooooooooo. I can't escape him. p.s. I thought he was a brunette with blond highlights??

Shannen *aka Mrs. Jericho Barrons* (shannybananny71) Well, Susan needs to clarify then. Every bit long as it's not Mike from Twilight, it's all adept. :)

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) Shannen - I think she meant Robert. I picture Peeta as someone a picayune younger looking than Robert - not wimpy, just not a body builder type.

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Noooooo. Gale chosen her catnip! Peeta gave her breadstuff, only Gale gave her meat!!

I'm on my style out the door only I'll be dorsum. Mark my words Team Peeta, I will exist back!

message 15: by Lana (new)

Lana (lanajeany) | 17 comments I read both Hunger Games and Catching Fire in 1 24-hour interval. I was hooked! I am definitely Teem Peeta. I'm actually worried though that Kat is going to end upwardly with Gale. I similar Gale, just I Dear Peeta! =)

I heard the moving picture is going to be PG-13. That worries me. The volume is then graphic and violent, I experience similar if you have that out, y'all lose the edginess and intensity of this world.

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) Lana - I am super excited from the motion picture! I hope they don't spiral it up. They amend get a great immature actress for Katniss, as she rocks. Peep I am a vegetarian, so bread trumps meat. Run away Peep. Run away.

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Who are you people? I feel similar I don't know whatsoever of you anymore! I don't empathise this Peeta love!

I didn't know they were really making a movie. I wonder what rating it volition be? I always imagined the daughter from Metropolis of Ember as Katniss, even when I read the book. Oh, she was also the atomic number 82 girl in the Lovely Bones.

As for the guys, they'll probably get someone in their 20s or 30s to play teens, so in that case I only hope they're good looking. And that they detect someway to integrate Ewan McGregor into the story.

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) Oh poor Peep. It is hard to exist on the outside looking in. p.due south. Ewan McGregor is dreamy. If you have not yet already done so, Netflix his bike riding series Long Fashion Round and the sequel Long Manner Downwards. They are fantabulous - except for the parts with his wife in them (jk).

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) Bluemoon - hope you like the book!

I have to agree that I'1000 shocked past all the Peeta love pouring out. I am waiting for the concluding book to be the decision maker for me only Peeta is kind of a whiner.

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Glad y'all liked information technology! It made me so sad, too. It's one of those books that I felt glad nearly reading.

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Jaimie wrote:

Give thanks you! It is shocking. United states Gale gals have to stick together.

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) Oh delight! Shocking? Peeta is in the majority of both books - as I said earlier Gale is just a flake actor. I concur that the 3rd book may modify my thoughts as it appears Gale may be in the book more than the minuscule amount he is in the offset two. Peeta a whiner? What???? Say information technology ain't then. He suffers though everything to help Katniss without complaint. Need I remind y'all again girls once again about the breadstuff?

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Nope, you don't take to remind the states. Poor Peeta, maybe one day he tin can bake upwards a loaf of bread with the master ingredients being a backbone and some cocky-respect. Booyah!

MissHavoc {Cry Havoc! Reviews} (misshavoc) | 5 comments wow, what a great argue. me, i'm squad peeta, which is odd since i love it when they finally get the best friend. i was then team jacob the entire twilight series and unremarkably stick with the dopey all-time friend. (like simon in the mortal instruments)gale though really does seem like her cousin and it makes me a little squirmy.

Jaimie (jaimier) | 1275 comments Whiner - he was all butt injure she was playing the game like a winner plays. Strategy is one thing, gullibility is another. She shouldn't feel guilty for beingness a winner with a capital West.

Chachic Wow, I missed a lot! I don't sympathise all this Peeta beloved too! Gale has been at that place for Katniss all her life. He'due south been taking care of her for years while Peeta only gave her staff of life once and watches from a distance.

Haha I don't even know why I'm arguing with you guys because I like Peeta every bit well and I'thou not a huge fan of honey triangles. I remember it complicates things too much.

I haven't read The Volume Thief but I accept it in my to exist read pile.

Peep (Pop! Pop!) LOL. This topic is hilarious, and I still honey y'all guys. Mockingjay meliorate exist good or I volition be and then upset. Chachic yous have to move The Book Thief up on your list. Heidi and I won't be happy until this entire grouping has read it.

Shannen *aka Mrs. Jericho Barrons* (shannybananny71) I'm withal not very far into the book but simply to make all the Twilight haters mad, I think I'll compare Gale to Jacob and Peeta to Edward. Hmmm...wonder whose squad I'grand on??? LOL!

Chachic Peep wrote: "Chachic you have to movement The Volume Thief upwardly on your list. Heidi and I won't be happy until t..."

Information technology's been in my list since it came out I recollect so I actually have to move information technology upwardly. About of my friends who've read it say it's actually good.

Chachic Shannen wrote: "I'm still not very far into the book merely just to make all the Twilight haters mad, I think I'll compare Gale to Jacob and Peeta to Edward. Hmmm...wonder whose squad I'k on??? LOL!"

I saw a post somewhere proverb that if ever there was a Team Commune 12 (Katniss, Peeta, Gale) vs. Team Forks (Bella, Edward, Jacob), Team District 12 would totally win.

Brittany (finally graduated and can once again read for fun) | 1328 comments Chachic wrote: "Shannen wrote: "I'm notwithstanding not very far into the volume just just to brand all the Twilight haters mad, I call up I'll compare Gale to Jacob and Peeta to Edward. Hmmm...wonder whose squad I'm on??? LOL!"..."

Team District 12 would definitely win. Katniss can have care of herself, merely Team Forks would spend besides much time being all angsty trying to protect Bella.

Also, Those of you talking virtually RPatz as Peeta, I e'er thought RPatz was better for the role of Finnick. When I read the clarification in Catching Fire he's the showtime person who popped into my head. I think Peeta should be played by the kid who plays Peter from Narnia (I don't know his proper name).

Also Team Gale ALL THE WAY!

Chachic Hurrah Team Gale!

message 34: by Susan (new)

Susan Okay no I didn't mean Robert Pattison. I meant the guy who plays Emmett, Kellan Lutz I recollect his name is!! LOL-this is turning into a great post!! Team PEETA all the manner!!!

message 35: by Lana (new)

Lana (lanajeany) | 17 comments I'm dying laughing reading anybody'southward comments! I beloved it. How can you guys be Team Gale? He's barely in the books! I presume he'll accept a big role in Mockingjay though.

MissHavoc, I am totally with you. I seem to like the loyal, adept all-time friends too. I loved Jacob (Twilight) and Simon (Immortal Instruments) better than Edward or Jace. (though Jace grew on me by the third book).

Peep, I concur with you - I recall Saoirse Ronan would be neat as Katniss in the movie! She's the right age and has a swell wait. She'south as well starring in an upcoming picture show every bit a teenage assassin so I know she can be a bad-ass. =)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Lana, a ameliorate question would be: How can you Not be Team Gale? lol. Isn't this thread hilarious? What's the motion-picture show she'south staring in? I would have never guessed her name. Do you know how it's pronounced?

MissHavoc {Cry Havoc! Reviews} (misshavoc) | 5 comments Lana, I'grand totally with yous on Jace too. He grew on me and then much that when I was preggers my husband and I decided on Jace as the name. (though a week before I was due nosotros changed it, didnt work due west/ our last proper name.) I concur with Saoirse Ronan too, with dark hair.

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) No Twilight talk here girls. We are talking about a volume that is well written (oh - that will get Shannen going!)

Shannen *aka Mrs. Jericho Barrons* (shannybananny71) Heidi wrote: "No Twilight talk hither girls. We are talking virtually a book that is well written (oh - that will go Shannen going!)"

Oh no yous didn't!

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) This thread is cracking me upwards. Who would have thought we could make such a potent statement for this love triangle! Now we only demand to get tweens and their mothers to start wearing Team Peeta and Team Gale shirts.
Peep - Saoirse Ronan is a good choice for Katniss. Brittany - I looked upward the actor from Narnia - his name is William Moseley and I think he would be a skilful selection for Peeta too.

Peep (Pop! Pop!) I forget what the description of Peeta is supposed to exist. I didn't care for him, then my mental picture show isn't a good one, lol. How sometime is her piddling sister in the volume?

Equally for t-shirts, I plan on making mine this weekend. I subtlety brought it upwards with my husband. He didn't inquire and I didn't elaborate! Hahaha.

Shannen *aka Mrs. Jericho Barrons* (shannybananny71) I'm reading the book now and can't fifty-fifty recall how they described Peeta. I know that Katniss and Gale are both nighttime haired with olive skin. Her sister is 12.

Heidi (Yup. Still here.) Peep and Shannen - Peeta is described as "hot" in the book, don't you lot remember? (hee hee). Peep - I 've got some one-time iron on messages in my closet - I just might have to bosom them out for my dearly beloved Peeta.

Brittany (finally graduated and can once again read for fun) | 1328 comments Wow, this is quite a funny thread, Peeta vs. Gale, homemade t-shirts, you tin't really inquire for more that.
Heidi, sorry, but I tend to not go for blondes and so "hot" is not a give-and-take I would apply to depict Peeta, it's definitely more appropriate for Gale (hehe). Dark, muscular, loyal, and he has "skilled hands"... swoon!
I do wanna see how that t-shirt turns out though. Besides thanks for looking up that actor for Peeta, I promise he meets your approving. I tin't actually remember of anyone to play Gale. Thoughts?

Shannen *aka Mrs. Jericho Barrons* (shannybananny71) Read some of this on my break and had a hard fourth dimension going back to piece of work. Argh! I just want to read!

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Just quit. Devote all of your time to catching upwardly on your to-exist-read pile.

Jaimie (jaimier) | 1275 comments Squad Gale is making gains!

Chachic Heidi wrote: "No Twilight talk here girls. We are talking about a book that is well written (oh - that volition get Shannen going!)"

I laughed out loud at this comment!

Chachic Peep wrote: "Just quit. Devote all of your time to catching up on your to-be-read pile."

Yeah, we should all practise that. Just terminate working and read all day. :)
